(august 23) our last stop for the night was nadia’s birthday at the pop-in, a great indie place at the marais. her boyfriend dj-ed for the night and the tropical decorations were grand! we didn’t recognize any song that played, but it’s amazing how, wherever you are, indie\alternative music is a language that we can understand.
my name is marina and this log is the documentation of my traveling from july to october 2010, during which i studied arts and design in london; urban design in france; wrapped up the trip with a visit to the venice architecture biennale and came home to brazil.
