(august 26) walking through montmartre inevitably leads you to the basilique de sacre-coeur, one of my favorite buildings in paris (and one of my favorite church designs ever, what with the byzantine influence). high up on the hill and with one of the best views in paris (and much more pleasant than waiting hours in line to go up the eiffel tower).
my name is marina and this log is the documentation of my traveling from july to october 2010, during which i studied arts and design in london; urban design in france; wrapped up the trip with a visit to the venice architecture biennale and came home to brazil.
