(August 29) Our second day in Cergy was a sunday, so we took the opportunity to visit Poissy, where Le Corbusier’s famous Ville Savoye sits. We study all about the nautical influences and the rigid set of Modernist rules, but it’s something else when seen up-close and personal. The house is amazing, in any case. I fell in love with the kitchen and terraces.

On the train station picture are the cool people I befriended immediately: Moisés (Mexico), Zeno (Italy), Ranran (China) and Paola (Chile).

my name is marina and this log is the documentation of my traveling from july to october 2010, during which i studied arts and design in london; urban design in france; wrapped up the trip with a visit to the venice architecture biennale and came home to brazil.
