(july 30) an incredible roman ciƩslewicz exhibition at the royal college of art. (he was a polish graphic designer from the early second half of the 20th century who made incredible posters in the eastern europe constructivist style and worked as art director of vogue, elle and mafia.)

(july 30) an afternoon with dear julia and jae at the serpentine gallery, this year explosively red and designed by jean nouvel.

(july 31) chaotic start to the day at oxford street (in upheaval due to the construction and rehauling work for the olympics) and a detour to trafalgar square to buy some art supplies. the national portrait gallery, its cafe and environs is still one of my favorite places ever.

(august 1) a laidback trip to spitalfields’ market was the order of the day this tired sunday (we’re tired all the time here these days). saw so many cool things and thought of so many friends. my graphics summer school starts tomorrow - excited and a bit nervous.

(august 1) our first night out was spent at catch 22 in shoreditch, as per pimp london guide’s suggestion. described as home for the up-and-coming indie bands, it felt a lot like the usual places i go to at home.
