(august 4) the days are really intense and i’m getting really tired after class, so there’s not enough energy to post at the end of the day… but i’m trying! these are the pictures from our final typography lesson, a really cool workshop in letterpress given my the great helen. there’s a picture of her with alistair, our tutor, in the slideshow.
(august 4) our assignment for typography class was to create an alphabet that would represent london to us. i chose the parks aspect of the city because it’s such a great counterpoint to all the grey, and since the brief was to try and use our hands much more than the computer, i worked with real leaves. the end result was a bit chunky, bit it was fun to experiment. all the foliage images was my photographic research!
